Chris, how do we upload jpgs? I wanted to customize the article Alia wrote. I uploaded the photo of the grannies to the wiki media site. The image name is Rrg_at_sba.jpg. Knight0440 13:45, 1 September 2006 (EST)

Image uploads were disabled. I just fixed it, so you should be able to add it now. --Chris Acheson 17:30, 1 September 2006 (EST)

Thanks Chris! :) Knight0440 18:44, 1 September 2006 (EST)

Hey Chris, any way to upload a .mp3 or a .wav? Knight0440 09:44, 7 September 2006 (EST)

I've enabled uploads for pdf, mp3, and ogg files. Let me know if anything else needs to be enabled. --Chris Acheson 22:03, 15 September 2006 (EST)

Hey Chris,

RocWiki has them on the st. joe's page. But it's a button that says "add comment" or something and a box next to it to type in said comment. After clicking, the thing appends the comment with the user name/date/time stamp. Anyway we can add these to this page? It might make things more intuitive for news users. Knight0440 20:12, 15 September 2006 (EST)

The "add comment" button on RocWiki is a custom macro that they wrote. I'll look into creating something of the sort later. For now, we could just set up "view comments" and "add comment" links, linking to the talk page in view and edit mode, respectively. --Chris Acheson 22:19, 15 September 2006 (EST)

So what's the deal with the "local issues" link? Was anything going to be happening with it? Also, the calendar link feels kind of dated as any new events/activities I've been posting in the announcements list. Knight0440 22:54, 21 September 2006 (EST)

Local issues is for stuff like the curfew, the D&C labor dispute, etc. Things that local anarchists might be interested in getting involved in. I just never got around to actually creating the page. --Chris Acheson 01:06, 22 September 2006 (EST)

Hey Chris, one more thing cause I like whining, but when I roll my mouse over the picture of Emma Goldman I think it would be cool if the caption box that appears read that instead of "main page". Any way I can change that or do you need to be an administrator? Thanks! Knight0440 00:13, 22 September 2006 (EST)

I'm not sure if it's possible to change the caption without hacking the mediawiki code. I'll look into it. --Chris Acheson 01:06, 22 September 2006 (EST)
Done. The page that it links to can be changed as well, if we want to do that. --Chris Acheson 01:35, 22 September 2006 (EST)

Cool. Thanks! 66.67.234.115 23:19, 23 September 2006 (EST)

Why is there 3 links to three different link pages that none of which seem to be growing in an kind of fashion? I think we should re-shrink those categories into one category. It seems redundant and confusing--especially when some of the links are already embedded in other pages-at least in regards to RAF and the mailing list.69.207.168.147 00:09, 20 May 2007 (EST)
